    Pronounced: soo-máhr-seh ah
    Type: reflexive verb
    Example: Esto se suma a los problemas que ya teníamos.
    Translation: This comes on top of the problems we already had.

    Pronounced: soo-máhr / rehs-táhr
    Type: verbs
    Example: A los niños se les enseña a sumar y restar cuando todavía son pequeños.
    Translation: Children are taught to add and subtract when they're still small.
